Jewelry
I grew up in Tuolumne County. My father was one of two teachers in the old school in Pinecrest. Following his retirement, my father attended San Jose State and took classes in the last wax method of creating jewelry and how to cut and facet gemstones. He began a business designing his own jewelry. I have always really appreciated different art forms and so in 2002 I began learning about gems and jewelry from my father. I took some classes at a place called Rio Grande in Albuquerque New Mexico where I learned to string and knot pearls and gemstones. I have been creating and selling my own designs since 2004.
