Rosie Ingalls
Oil - Watercolors
Sonora
Tuolumne county has been Rosie's home since 1972. She has recently retired from the airlines and is now grounded in her art studio. Rosie aspired to be an artist at a very young age but it wasn't meant to be until 2014, a gift from her sisters to a Yosemite Plein Aire workshop taught by Chuck Waldman. Rosie prefers to dip her paint brush in oil paints and watercolors. She is currently studying under Diana Boyd and has attended workshops taught by Chuck Waldman and Peggy Kroll-Roberts as well the 2015/2016 Plein Aire Convention. Rosie believes creating art is a lifetime process of learning and evolving. She sees everything as potential to paint. Art and beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
