Linda depicts landscapes and buildings in mixed media, using gesso, acrylic, watercolor, pen and ink, on paper or canvas to create a varied and rich surface.
Linda’s work with line and color is a way to study nature and people. She feels it is the function of art to give moments of truth to our lives and to furnish us with insight into our possibilities beyond facts.
Linda holds degrees in music, drama and art from San Jose state University and studied landscape painting with Carl Martin.
She has taught art to adults and children in her studio in Watsonville. Her paintings have been represented in shows and galleries in San Jose, Carmel, Monterey, and Sonora.
