Janet Haroldson

Janet is a mixed media artist who grew up in Woodside, CA. Inspired by Albert Wilson, she studied Art and Horticulture at Canada College and later studied Ceramics at Columbia. Her 39 year career as a bookkeeper for the Safeway Grocers allowed her to also focus on her passion of creating ceramic works of art, making glass jewelry and junk journaling.
In 2005 Janet retired, and built a home in Oakdale, Ca. providing her the freedom to become very active in the art show circuit. She continues to exhibit her works with various regional artists in a number of venues. She has participated in the Stanislaus Open Art Studio for the past 10 years, and was featured in the Ventana Art Gallery, in Sonora, for many years.
She is also a certified personal trainer, member of the Peninsula Quilt Club, San Mateo African Violet, San Francisco Orchid and San Mateo Fuchsia Societies.
