Irene enjoys sketching and painting the local and valley scenes, especially historical sites.

Irene has lived and worked in the Mother Lode for more than 30 years and her work reflects her love of the foothills and the local color and scenic views. Color is her focus and her passion. Irene maintains a studio at Studio “B” on Bradford St. in Sonora.  She shows her work at the Valley Art Gallery in Salinas, Studio “B” in Sonora, and the Aloft Art Gallery in Sonora.
