Cassinetto’s background in photography dates back many years, but in 2010 she began to take it seriously as a fine art. She spent a week at the Rocky Mountain School of Photography and since then has studied with a variety of professional photographers, including Michael Frye with the Ansel Adams Gallery in Yosemite. In May 2013 she received her A.A. in Fine Art-Photography at Columbia Junior College. In February 2015 she became an Adobe Certified Expert in Adobe Lightroom and a Lightroom instructor at Columbia Junior College in Sonora.  Her work has been displayed in a variety of juried photography shows and exhibits throughout California, from Madera County to Shasta County.  She has received numerous awards from juried photography shows, including a 2013 Best of Show Award at the Tuolumne County Arts Alliance InFocus Photography.   Cassinetto is mainly a wildlife and nature photographer.
